Tackle and score
You're so amazing.
Winning every race without breaking a sweat,
must be the root of all...
Leave your uniform at the door.
Draw the blinds,
Don't look behind,
Flip the switch as you leave
your uniform at the door.
Mind numbing rants to draw me near
Merely spun to keep you here.
We're both selfish and we're both out of our damn minds.
Using that word for these felings to keep us intertwined.
Leave your uniform at the door.
Draw the blinds,
Don't look behind,
Flip the switch as you leave
your uniform at the door.
Another high five,
Another jab at the worst dressed at lunch.
Let's talk over the people more petty than us
So they never know we're more petty than them.
Our promises total to triple digits in a year
And at the end of four let's seal them in the wall between us.
I'll remind you and you'll remind me
With our most insincere smiles we're friends not enemies.
I'll smile and ask about you and the kids.
You'll smile and call me by my most hated name.
And this is how we will shame
Those four years we rose to fame.
Leave your uniform at the door.
Draw the blinds,
Don't look behind,
Flip the switch as you leave
your uniform at the door.
And when you return dusty and sad,
And are so sure I'm all too glad
to welcome and wash
and soothe you to squash
All the fresh dirt in trenches we ripped
I'll comply.
We'll use that word for these feelings
Just to get by
After all, we're out of our damn minds.
And just like this and every other time
Leave your uniform at the door.
Draw the blinds,
Don't look behind,
Flip the switch as you leave
your uniform at the door. |

| You should sing these. I mean, due to repetition, I'm assuming they're songs. But because they don't really follow a pattern, and don't make total collective sense, you should sing them so maybe we'll get a sense of what they sound like. |

| no insult. listen to her sing. she sings exceptionally breathy and often softly. It's not bad, but it sounds like a melodic whisper. A few she sounds louder on. For the most part she sings breathy and soft. |
